GEN: Friend Needs ALA Conference Roommate (Female)

Dear LM_NET Colleagues,

The following is a request from a friend who works at the Library of
Congress/National Digital Library, who I met while involved in the
American Memory Project over the past two years.  She is seeking a
roommate for the ALA Convention this sumnmer. Please contact her directly

Hi Peter,

I'm going to work the booth for LC at ALA.  I've been trying to get a hotel
room only to discover that they are way over the government rate.  Susan
suggested that I write you and ask if you could put a message on LM_Net for
me.  I'd be willing to share a room at a hotel near the conference center
with another non-smoking female.  Since I have to work the booth and will
be alone, I really want to stay close to the convention center.

Would that be something you could put on your list?
