TECH:Netscape Communicator 4.5

Help. Most of the mail in my Inbox suddenly disappeared last night. I
have never had this happen before. Is there any way I can recover it?
There were some important messages in that folder that I really need. I
am using Netscape Communicator 4.5 with Windows 98. Thanks in advance
for any help you can give me.
