GEN: bookfair in library

The following is a monster of my own making. (I agreed to it --THIS year)
   Imagine this:

For the next ten days there is a HUGE bookfair set up in my library, making
all of the end of the year tidying (and even general class and story time)
impossible. We can scarcely get to the shelves to put books away.  Though
there are specific "manned" purchasing times;  yes, I've got parents
wandering around right now asking to browse and buy early.  (I'm not running
the fair, our parents group is.)  Ugh!  What have I done?
Live and learn.

And then there are 1st graders who are getting the bookstore and library
differences confused - my original fear.  AND some teachers who aren't as
flexible as myself can't understand why I need to come to their rooms for
library class or why I'm late for back to back classes.....
