The wife of one of our teachers is a big legal mystery/thriller fan.
she's discovered and shared the books by Lisa Scottoline - who is called
"the female John Grisham".  If you like fast paced, can't put 'em down
books of this type, try her book, Rough Justice.  She's also written:

Everywhere that Mary Went
Final Appeal
Legal Tender
Running from the Law
Mistaken Identity (her latest)

I haven't read them all yet. But Rough Justice was really great. It was
as good a story as Grishams' The Partner.
