SEC: Looking for General Science Research Ideas

Before we sign off for summer, do any of you have any ideas for me and our
9th grade science teacher?  She would like to do some integrated research
projects in the library next year, and I would like to start looking for
materials before school is over.  She threw out a pretty wide range :
Leonardo da Vinci and his
art of invention to science in science fiction.  I would be thrilled if you
have any suggestions to pass along and the support materials as well. Have
a great summer.  They're always great, n'est-ce pas!!!!!!!!!
