REF: Blurbs on Dust Covers

Interesting question from a student: What do you call the information,
usually presented by the publisher, given on the inside front and back
dust covers of hard bound books? This usually includes a description of
the book and perhaps of the author.
    I think she wants to cite this material for a scholarly paper, so,
of course I will discourage her from doing so. Still, there's got to be
another name for it, besides, "blurb."
