ELEM: great k story and activity

Greetings,!  The beautiful picture book " Squiggle" .  Ask what a
squiggle is... etc  Where would you see or find squiggles etc...  Then
read story, then send everyone to a table and give each child a 3 foot
piece of yarn to squiggle into something using their own imagination.
You can also make suggestions (who can squiggle a heart shape... etc.)
They really loved doing this and left with the idea of doing it at home
or creating a collage with their squiggle and some glue and paper.
