Media Center and enrichment programs

Need your help - again!  Our enrichment teacher is leaving and I've been
asked to sit on the committee that will look at our program and decide which
direction we want to go with enrichment - before the principal begins
interviewing for the replacement.

How do enrichment programs work in your elementary schools - Of course, I'm
very interested in those that integrate the media center into their plan.
Do you have pull-out programs?  After school programs?  Programs integrated
into the regular classroom?  We have traditionally had pull-out programs and
our parents (I am one of those, too) and students .have been somewhat
frustrated with that set-up.

If you school has come up with an awesome way to meet the needs of your GT
students, I'd love to hear from you.  Many thanks!
