When students do research on the Web, I tell them to look for certain information on any page they plan to use as a source. This site is missing two crutial pieces of information: 1. The author's name and qualifications 2. The date the information was posted I wouldn't recommend a site to teachers if I can't verify the authority or currency of the information. The site looks promising, but it actually covers very few grammar rules, and since I'm not a grammarian I can't verify the accuracy the information. Without dates we don't know if the site is just being constructed or if it has been up for a year waiting for the author to complete his/her work. -- Anthony Doyle, Librarian Livingston HS, livingston, CA tdoyle@muhsd.k12.ca.us -- original message Hey folks, I don't know whether this site has been mentioned yet, but It's a great one to point your english teachers (secondary) to. http://www.chompchomp.com/menu.htm It's called Grammar Bytes, and it has an index of grammar terms, interactive exercises, teacher & student handouts and worksheets (downloadable in both html & Word 97 formats), grammar rules, etc. An English Teacher's dream!!!!! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
