TECH: slide show

Hello Friends,
        Our 6th grade teachers are wanting to show a slide show of students'
pictures during the awards program Thursday night.  We have a Sony Mavica
camera and the software that came with it is PhotoStudio.  We also have
PowerPoint available.  I know how to show one disk at a time, but they have
7 disks of pictures to show.  Is there a way to save these on the hard
drive and then run a slide show, or how can we do this?  Any advice would
be great!  Thanks!
