GEN: Time to check book out, in and shelve

Recently someone on the list stated it took 2 minutes per book to check
out, in and shelve.  I would like to make a report to my principal for the
end of the year, but wanted to know the source of the 2 minute increment in
case I am questioned on it. I know how long I shelve books, but it seems
that no one outside the profession really realizes how long these seemingly
inconsequential jobs take.
