Clueless administrators

Re: Clueless administrators:  I have had the opportunity to address classes
as to the role of administrators regarding library media services. It is an
eye opener for many. May I recommend that library media staff  members also
consider becoming  administrators? I worked in the media center for 20 years
and made the move. It has allowed me to begin to influence others regarding
the importance of the Library Media Center and its' program and staff. For
example, all new staff hired for this coming Fall will be receiving a copy
of the new Information Power - with inservice credit available!
