Internet filter information is rife on the Internet. For a picture of Filters
from a Librarians (conservative at that) point of view, one should invest in
the book:
"A Practical Guide to Internet Filters"
by Karen Schneider
NY. Schuman. c1997
ISBN 1-55570-322-4
This book too contains information about how filters work, ease of use etc.
But it also tells you information that the filter owners would just a soon you
not know. Good resource for school librarians and LMS.
