Calendar Clue has been a research game we have used in our libraries for many years. The publishers tell us that it has been discontinued. This is a game that gives you clues each day and the answer is disclosed on Friday. Using Keywords to search reference materials, the students gain skills by having fun and of course, they enjoy the competition. We have certificates and little prizes that are given to the winners from each classroom. At the Awards ceremony at the end of 6th grade, the winner with the most weekly wins for the 5th and 6th grade is inducted into the Calendar Clue Hall of Fame and wins a Tee-shirt. Does anyone know of another product such as this? Is there anyone that does anything like this for their students? We would be interested to know. Thanks. Leona M. Chereshnoski, Library Asst.
