HIT: grandparents

Not many of us have resources on this topic, apparently.  One respondent
suggested using the Dick, Jane, Sally and Spot books.

Look for these:
 I
use two books to hit upon the topic of what life was like for grandparents and
other older adults.

When I Was Little -- by Toyomi Igus (1992)
published by Just Us Books, Orange, NJ
A picture book in which a boy and his grandfather go fishing and his
grandfather explains what life was like when he was growing up.

When I Was Your Age: Original Stories About Growing Up --edited collection by
various authors (1996)
published by Candlewick Press, Cambridge, Mass
