Literary Terms and Picture books

My Gifted and Talented Teacher is trying to develop a unit of study for HS
sophomores which would include using picture books.  We are trying to come
up with a sources or list which would assist us in this project.  We are
looking at such terms as foreshadowing, allusion, parody, alliteration,
ambiguity, analogy, atmosphere, flashback, imagery, inference,
irony,metaphor, personification, poetic justice, simile and symbol.  Does
anyone know of a book which could help us OR do you have suggestions for any
of these?

Thanks so much for your help.  This unit must be completed by the end of our
