Dear readers, One of my favorite collaborating teachers is looking for new ways to get her 10th grade students excited about doing research into the lives of poets. We always did a standard research project before (biography, literary time period, themes, poetic devices, examples of the poetry, etc.) and students hated it. Booooring!! Does anyone have anything to suggest that accomplishes the same goals in a way that kids will enjoy? TIA Marie A.
