My school's elementary library shelves their easy books by the first word in the title (not including words like "The", "A", etc). The rationale behind this is that our youngest readers don't usually know the author of their favorite book but only the title. This method helps them find the books they want easily. What does everybody think of this method? Any feedback would be very much appreciated.
