Hi everyone,

Peter Milbury gave me the ok to do a little blatant self-promotion.

Last week someone posted a message with a list of Jack Prelutsky poems
that can be sung to familiar tunes. That information came from
Kathleen Baxter, School Library Journal's Non-fiction Booktalker
columnist. She and I have co-written a book called GOTCHA: NONFICTION
BOOKTALKS TO GET KIDS EXCITED ABOUT READING, which will be published this
fall by Libraries Unlimited. There is a prepublication special going on
right now, offering free postage and
a 20% discount on the book. If you would like a copy of the flyer so you
can order it at this excellent price, I can send you the flyer either by
snail mail or as an Acrobat PDF attachment.

If you are interested, please send an e-mail to me at this address
(kochel@ibm.net) and
specify whether you want the information by e-mail or US mail. (Send me
your mailing address for option #2)

I am told that the book will be available in Birmingham at AASL at
Libraries Unlimited (booth 1413-1417), as well.

The book has over 200 pages, over 300 booktalks
and many
illustrations.

Thanks for reading this!
