Source for Cassette Tape Players

     What brands/models of cassette tape players and headphones have you
found to be most durable for listening centers?  My principal says he doesn't
want to spend a lot of money for them because they don't last anyway!  He
says there is some source for players that run about $35!!  I haven't found
any that have more than one headphone jack.
    Has anyone used the MPC brand?  I found a four jack player/recorder of
theirs for $59 and their headphones are $8 each.  I just don't know anything
about the quality.
