I'm interested in finding out how many of you "mend" books. The collection I
inherited has quite a few of these on the shelf and my assistant said they
had been doing this for years. She even showed me mending supplies that were
purchased last year by my predecessor and pointed out that the supplies
weren't cheap. I remember that one of my professors in grad school was
opposed to mending and I wanted to hear from the pros how some of you felt
about this matter.
I'd appreciate any input you can give me. I told my assistant I'd consult the
experts and let her know the results.
TIA
