MID: Classroom Set Titles

I had a teacher ask for my recommendation for titles of novels to use in
the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade language arts classes.  We have some
classroom sets for each grade but there is money in the system for
another set or two to be purchased for each grade level.

I thought I would ask the group what titles their 6th, 7th, and 8th
grade language arts classes are using.  We would like to integrate it
into the curriculum.  For example, the titles may include historical
fiction to relate LA with the Social Studies classes.  6th grade is
Western Hemisphere Geography.  7th Grade studies Eastern.  And, 8th
grade is US History through the Civil War.

Any suggestions?
