FINAL REMINDER: CALIBK12/LM_NET Breakfast at CSLA Palm Springs

A Final Reminder to LM_NET and CALIBK12 Colleagues,

Please be sure to join us at CSLA in Palm Springs for the annual
CALIBK12/LM_NET breakfast gathering. The registration deadline is November
12. With all the reports of the FAME Breakfast being so exciting, you sure
don't want to miss our gathering at CSLA!

Linworth Publishing and ABC-CLIO will again be sponsoring the
CALIBK12/LM_NET Breakfast at the CSLA Conference.  Come interact LIVE with
Mike Eisenberg, Peter Milbury, Gary Hartzell, and your fellow LM_Netters!
The event will be held Thursday, November 18 from 7:00 - 8:00 am at the
Wyndham Palm Springs, in the Mojave Learning Center.

Exciting prizes, donated by our sponsors, will be awarded to the winners
of our interactive game.  But, you must be pre-registered and in
attendance in order to win!

The registration deadline is November 12.

We want to see you there! One of the things we will be doing during the
CALIBK12/LM_NET breakfast gathering will be playing a "Getting to know
you" game. In your registration reply, please provide us with an
interesting piece of information about yourself, so that we can include it
in the form that people will have to fill out in order to win a prize.  It
doesn't have to be too unusual, just enough to give us some "fun"  things
to ask and look for. We will not be able to include all that are provided,
so if you can't think of anything, it is all right.

It should be, however, something distinctive, such as the following, which
have been used in earlier sessions:
  A country you have visited
  An unusual number of schools/jobs/careers you have worked in/at
  A hobby that is distinctive
  Drives a pick-up truck or other interesting vehicle
  Loves to country line dance
  Former Peace-Corps volunteer
  Library Media Specialist for over 20 years
  Write country songs
  Traveled over 500 miles to get to Palm Springs
  Etc.
