Dear LM_NETers:

I hoping that there is someone out there who can help me with this one. I am
a student at Queens College in their School Library Media Program and they
require that I do a 150 hour internship in a School Library Media Center
under a state certified School Library Media Specialist. Because I work full
time in a school library this is a bit of a difficulty for me. A lot of
students do their internship during the summer but I usually work in the
summer and this also would be a bit of a problem for me.

I am looking for a school library media center that is possibly open outside
of regular school hours to allow me to do my internship in the evenings or
even possibly on weekends. I currently work in the Bronx but I am willing to
drive a reasonable distance. I must be able to spend 150 hours in the center
and I must work under a certified SLMS.

If your library fits this description and you are interested in having an
intern please contact me directly at my school or e-mail address.
