Hi all:

We have a very large folklore section which we are hoping to organize
into more manageable units. Our big sub-categories are: Native
Americans tales, African-American tales, Tales from foreign lands, King
Arthur legends, Animal stories, Tall tales, Aesop fables, Spooky
stories, etc.

We need to extend beyond the 398 and even 398.2 designations in order to
have the similar categories together.

Needless to say the Abridged Dewey that I have doesn't go very far. Can
any of you offer numbers that might be better for some/all of the above.
Or do any of you have a web-site that breaks things down that I might
use?

I'm especially interested to know if the dewey system sub-categorizes
folklore from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, etc....by country or
continent?

Any help will be appreciated and I will HOPE to post a HIT on this if I
am not too overwhelmed with answers. I thank you all in advance for your
help.
