I have coyright question. A school is putting on a musical from a well-known Broadway and charges admittance. Songs have been changed and new ones added to the production-taken from other plays by the same playwrite. Line have been added to the play for local interest. My feeling is that this is highly unethical and that an artist's work can not be tampered with without permission. Obviously, directors change interpretations of plays with costumes, sets and how lines are delievered, but may they make these kinds of changes as well? Thanks, experts. s &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Sarah Peckham, Librarian Marian High School 7400 Military Avenue Omaha, NE 68134 1-402-571-0619 speckham@marian.creighton.edu &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
