Our middle school has a potential challenge in the 8th grade language department. They currently teach Killing Mr. Griffitn by Lois Duncan. In light of the recent violence in schools one family is questioning the appropriateness of "teaching" this novel in the classroom. Any opinions? Pro? Con?
