I'm interested in hearing about how joint libraries work
(in my case it will be a high school/elementary school/public
library).

I only know of one, which was not successful as a public
library because it is located within the school grounds
and not near the street. The textbook room is located
across the campus, so the librarian and library assistant
rarely see each other.

I've just been informed of a meeting on Thursday,
that the library will be 15,000 sq ft, and that it
is to open Sept. 2001. The architect will be there
and he's visited several of our newest libraries.
I'm new to the school and don't have any
information about staffing, hours, etc.

Thanks for any input!
