Nonfiction books for AP English Class

Our High School has a new Eleventh grade AP Language class that the
teacher would like some suggestions for nonfiction books for them to read.
I'm have gone through my collection, but have few suggestions.  Please
send me any suggestions and I will compile a hit.

Thank you in advance.  It is wonderful to have this great resource when we
do not have the answers.
