Dear fellow LM_netters, Here's a request for help in advance...I have a potential challenge brewing to Julie Anne Peters's _Romanceof the Snob Squad_, a harmless piece of middle school fluff in my estimation. The parent objects to the use of the word "slut" in one sentence ("any girl who would dance with a boy is a slut") - admits he hasn't read the whole book, etc. A couple of days after he complained about this one, he and his wife appeared in the library (we thought they were just killing time waiting for their P/T conference), and we saw them pulling book after book off the shelves. Now he's also upset about our Tom Clancy books (which are marked 7th and 8th only.) Anway - have any of you had a problem with the "Snob Squad" books? And have you ever had a parent deliberately cruising your library, sort of on a witch hunt??? Thanks in advance.
