Thank you responders,

I sure do appreciate those with ideas. We opted for linking each stack with
a timed invisible button. The suggestions from you were about 50/50 as to
which way to go: link the stacks or create a new stack.

We opened the first student stack on the Zip disc. Created a timed and
invisible button that linked to the next stack. A window comes up asking
you what stack to link it to. Then we copied the button and pasted it on
the stack of the student we had just linked to. Then we opened the options
on the button and changed the action to open the next student's stack, again
choosing from the window that pops up. It worked splendidly.

I am not sure how many steps would have been involved in opening a new stack
and then opening each students stack to copy their card and then returning
to your new stack to paste the student card. It seemed like more work
although the finished product seems more friendly (having one 80 card stack
instead of 80 linked stacks).

Thanks again for your advice and suggestions.
