Middle School Immigration Study

Hi and Happy Thanksgiving to All,
Whenever you have a chance, after this holiday weekend, I need some
help. After many months of lurking and responding, I am taking the
plunge and asking my first question. I have to order  books, fiction and
non - fiction on the subject of immigration. ( to the United States )
for our eighth grade team. I don't know the exact class assignment
yet,but know that it is an important area of study and the students will
be assigned research.  Any suggestions would be most helpful.
