The certificated staff in our state (CA) are evaluated at least every other year and more if they are new. The librarians are also evaluated. The problem is that our school district, and I know many others, use the teacher evaluation form for the librarian. Many of the sections of the form do not fit what we do and as a result do not reflect our role in the school. Does any one have an evaluation form that your school or district uses for librarians?
