I need standards for size, holdings, etc. for a high school library of 1,000 students. Seems that turning part of the school library into a formal classroom is in the works. This will not be library classroom space, however. Part of the collection will have to be removed/relocated (approximately 10,000 titles) for this change. Why any educator would consider deminishing the size of a school library when student enrollment is increasing is beyond my comprehension. Any ammunition you could supply to help save my library space will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lorita F.
