Help! I've check the archives and several sites on copyright and I can't seem to locate the answer to my question. I hope someone out there can help! One of the eight grade social studies teachers would like his students to make a "Revolutionary War" web page. They usually do multi-media projects using scanned pictures and computer graphics. Now, I know that falls under fair use and is ok - but if they take these multi-media projects and put them on a web page (including the scanned materials) is that still covered under fair use or is it a violation of copyright? He plans to make the students site where they got their information. I can talk myself into both sides. It is an education project, so that is fair use. But it is on the web, so it is published..... HELP! Any input would be appreciated. (This is my first post, so I hope I am doing it right! Let me know what I did wrong...)
