I've been trying to catalog a little book of funny sayings by kids on the topic of love. These are similar to the old Linkletter "Kids say the darndest things" kind of books, and I don't have any other ones to go by. Do you use the Dewey number for quotations? I don't think my students would ever find it down there! Also, what do you do with periodicals that have a Dec/Jan issue? Do you treat it as the last issue of one year or the first issue of the next? I'm referring to giving it a material type. The call number doesn't pose a problem. **************************************************************************** ****** Gayle Hodur, District Librarian Snail Mail: ATTN: Gayle Hodur Soledad Unified School Dist.
