Ref: Who was Robert Williams aka Dare Devil Dick

I am trying to find out who Robert Williams aka Dare Devil Dick was.  I
did find out from the California Geneaological Page that he committed a
crime in 1866.  I have checked all of the standard biographical
dictionaries that we have in our collection, American Heritage, Nash's
crime encyclopedias, and other book about crime that we have in our
collection and have come up with no more.  Can anyone help?  Thanks,
