GEN: Candles/Light use in holiday celebrations

Kindergarten teachers came to me today asking for info on How
light/candles are used in various holidays throughout the year (and
around the world). Ex: Hanukkah candles, St Lucia & Crown of candles,
birthday cake candles, etc.

 I found a book called Celebration of Light; I have it ordered through
ILL. Have also checked the archives (found a mention in a HIT of someone
decorating their school with a light theme at  Christmastime). Also,
looked through the holidays categories on www.yahoo.com,.

 Any web site ideas?
