Does anyone know what the word "Oleanna" means? It is the name of a play by David Mamet written in 1993. I have a student who needs to know who or what it is/means. She thinks it could me something from mythology (Scandinavian maybe). It appears in a folk song that Mamet quotes at the beginning of the play. I don't think a name for the song is given.
