(I hope I've done this correctly. It is my first posting to the group =
after lurking and replying to individuals for far too long.)

    I think I would try to enlist the teacher with the large fiction =
collection as an arm of the library. She might be willing to have her =
room designated "Library Annex." The students are already in the habit =
of going to her (or at least her collection) for service. The two of you =
could develop a really positive relationship that would show the powers =
that be that everyone is making the most of what is available. She might =
even appreciate your assistance in organizing her collection or =
developing procedures that would make her life easier. Who knows? You =
could use this situation to highlight your dire need to update the =
nonfiction collection.=20
