Re: The Sweetest Fig

My students love Van Allsburg's "The Sweetest Fig."  One of the projects
that I like to do is ask the students to pick their favorite food.  Then
they write a paragraph telling what dream they would like to come true if
that food were magic like the fig.  The answers are always quite
interesting.  I haven't done this in a year or two so it will be new to the
students that participate in it this year.
