TARGET: REF: Roy V. Young

I would be happy if someone can tell me _how_ to find the
birth/death (I think he's still alive) dates of an author unknown
to me.  Roy V. Young's titles sound like he belongs with
_Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy_ (Do you think I can remember
his name???)  Anyway, I was able to find Roy's books in LOC, but
no dates.  Although I would like the information, I'm more
interested in the steps one would take to find it.  I hate being
stuck like this.  Thanks for whatever.
