Hello everyone, I have been reading your comments about Scholastic. This is my first year as a media specialist and my first year having a book fair. I just finished the week having my Scholastic Book Fair. I am very pleased with the way things went. My rep. (Julie Morris) was wonderful! she called to make sure everything was going well. I called her to turn in orders for books (I called 3 times Friday) and received them the next day. I was sent several boxes for each grade level of the bargain books. Any book that was on the list that I didn't get in I ordered for the child. I had book talks given by a scholastic representative on Monday, she did 15 min. book talks with grades k-5. After school she served refreshments and invited the teachers in to talk to them and answer any questions. I have no complaints. We are a small private school, so we don't make a whole lot. The Fair sales were around $2,000 for the week. Our school has a Scholastic and a Troll Book Fair every year. I'm sorry so many of you had a hard time.
