Subject: GEN: Kelowna Software L4U

I am using Kelowna Software's L4U version 6.0.6r5c in my school district's
resource centre.  I would like to develop a user group of L4U users,
especially for users in libraries similar to mine.  I have a primarily
non-print collection, and most of my circulation is done through advance
bookings and deliveries.  The advance booking features of L4U are causing
significant problems in my library. Some of these problems may be bugs,
others problems may be caused by a limited understanding on the part of
Kelowna Software of what advance booking really means. Is anyone else trying
to use L4U in this way?  Are you having more success?  In general,
regardless of the type of library you are in, how functional/stable do you
find the L4U system?  Are you interested in being part of a user group?
Please email me and let me know... I feel as if I am toiling in the
wilderness, even though I am just 45 minutes down the highway from Kelowna!
