I am a new library media specialist in a 6-12 rural school. Three days before school started, 3 ESL students registered. All are Spanish-speaking high school students. The curriculum coordinators are panicked as we have absolutely no resources for these kids. I have been asked to find some audiotapes, study guides or other materials that they can use as soon as possible. I know that there are several websites for self-directed study, but the Internet is currently a can of worms in our district, and I would prefer info on print or audio materials, at least initially. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any advice you can send my way. Joan L.
