>Project Summary: The purpose of this project is to match up junior
secondary English classes who have read The Giver. Participants would share
by email their alternative endings for the novel. Each participating class
would vote on their preferred alternative ending. A possible extension
activity into next term may be to publish these alternative endings on a
collaborative Giver website.
