Help convincing administration of need for full-time clerk

     I need suggestions as far as asking that my part time clerk's position
be changed to full  time.   Any suggetions I can use?  I plan to request this
change in a letter to my principal.   We had a full time position in the
past, but....  Recently other library clerk's hours were changed to full time
in the middle and high school.  We in the lower schools - who have fixed
shedules- really have the need.   I thank any one in advance for any ideas.
