How often is a school librarian regularly featured in a TV series, and is a hero too? The September Issue of American Libraries has Rupert Giles from Buffy, the Vampire Slayer on the cover. The article about him (and librarianship) is written by GraceAnne DeCandido, last Editor of the Wilson Library Bulletin (and now a consultant and writer). Even if you don't watch the show, read the article.
