Gen:New Book: The Internet in School

List members may be interested in a book I've just had published.
Called The Internet in School, it's intended as a non-threatening guide to
using the Internet in school (hence the title ...) and it's non-technical.
It deals with the practical applications of the Internet as a resource in
the clasroom and in the library and its potential to enhance teaching and
learning.
It draws upon my last five years of Internet use (Hinchingbrooke was the
first UK secondary school to have a Website) and is both pragmatic and
enthusiastic about the Web.
It also draws upon the experience of members of UK_SCHOOLS and LM_NET
listservs and I'm very grateful to both lists for their help and ideas.

The Internet in School by Duncan Grey is published by Cassells and its ISBN
is 0-304-70531-4
