Our small school has an Novell LAN with Windows 95 operating system. Over the weekend, lightening came in on the cable and did lots of selective damage. The network is down till further notice. For instance the network card on my machine was ruined. Our tech coordinator spent all day working on the system yesterday. My library computer and one of the superintendant's is back on-line, but no one else's works. I always unplug my computers when I go home, but can't undo the cable as it connects to the superintendants office. Any suggestions for preventing future damage to the network? Is there someplace the tech coordinator can get advice? Thanks, Judy ___________________________ Judy L. Meadows Library Media Specialist Verona R-7 School District 101 E.
